I wish this were my real life book club (I’ve actually never really been in a book club) And I’m sure I’ve missed some, but these are a few of my favorite books focused on mind/body health. 

A few years ago, I thought if I just ate
I used to have the most energy 🤪 but over the last 2 years, I. HIT. A. WALL. With that level of adrenal exhaustion, I felt sorta like a shell of a person 😵‍💫

And I wanted to share the NUMBER ONE thing that has helped me begin to reverse that

This 7th stage is marked with low cortisol all throughout the day - essentially no cortisol curve - just a flat line 🥴

Stage 6 Adrenal Burnout🚨

When I first saw this photo - I realized that my hair was falling out in such an extreme way - like it had formed it’s own “layers” from all the split and thinned out places.

🚨 5th Stage of Adrenal Burnout : Ongoing Resistance 🚨 

Low Morning Cortisol (with normal evening cortisol) / Normal DHEA

In this stage, the body’s reserves have been used up and isn’t even really trying to combat stress with cortisol
🚨4th Stage Adrenal Burnout🚨 

Normal cortisol (but low morning cortisol) & Low DHEA

This lab might look fairly normal, but you’ll notice low morning cortisol as a sign that the body is exhausted and has been dealing with overwhelming adr
Third Stage of Adrenal Burnout 🚨 

High cortisol & low DHEA

In this stage, you often have major sleep issues - feeling tired all day but can’t sleep at night, as well as hormone imbalance, prone to anxiety or depression and overall inflam
2nd Stage of Adrenal Burnout: Ongoing / Chronic Alarm 🚨 

High cortisol/normal DHEA

In this stage, you might start to feel like you can’t quite catch up from the lack of sleep like you used to.
